Loan Gordon, Vice President, Marketing
Ms. Gordon brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic marketing in the healthcare and technology sectors. As VP Marketing for 7 Medical, Gordon is responsible all aspects of the company's executive, organizational and employee communications, public and media relations, and branding and marketing. Gordon directs the integrated marketing and communications efforts for the company's RIS/PACS, EMR, teleradiology and disaster recovery product lines, including branding, public relations, product launches, website and online marketing, and trade show and events management.
Prior to 7 Medical, Gordon was founder and managing partner of Loop Marketing, LLC, a full service marketing consulting agency in Redmond, Washington. At Loop, she provided management consulting, marketing strategy and services to companies in healthcare technology, wireless and telecom, real estate development, and various other sectors. In 2009, she founded the Open Health IT Exchange (OHITX), a healthcare association that brings together healthcare providers, vendors, associations and policy groups in an open and collaborative environment to advance health IT initiatives such as ARRA (Stimulus) and the HITECH Act.
Gordon previously directed the marketing efforts at several startups in wireless and telecom, where she was responsible for marketing strategy, product launches, direct and channel marketing, public relations and investor relations. She was a key member of the team that took a wireless startup through its initial public offering and thereafter managed the company's investor and analyst relations.
Gordon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington State University, with a double-major in international business and marketing, and a minor in French. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Washington.
