Kevin Roche, Strategic Advisor, Vita Advisors
As a senior executive for more than 20 years, Mr. Kevin Roche has worked with a host of large, small and start-up companies in the areas of strategic planning and transactions, board representation and corporate governance, legal and government affairs, and comprehensive healthcare operations and policy.
In 2008, Roche and his partner founded Vita Advisors, a research-based strategic advisory firm serving the healthcare industry, where he provides merger and acquisition advisory services and strategic consulting. Specializing in the healthcare industry, Roche has participates in mergers, acquisitions, divestiture and joint venture transactions in the areas of strategic planning and transactions.
Previously, Roche was a Senior Vice President at UnitedHealth Group where he evaluated investment opportunities and researched and developed strategies regarding changes in technology and medical practices. Prior to that, he was founder and CEO of the Ingenix Division of UnitedHealth, a health information and research company, where he grew the company from less than $50 to $400 million in four years. During his tenure as General Counsel and CEO of Ingenix, Roche participated in more than 70 acquisitions of businesses ranging from a few million to over $2 billion in value. Prior to founding Ingenix, Roche was general counsel at UnitedHealth Group from 1989 to 1996.
Currently, Roche serves as a Director for Virtual Radiology Corporation, Genoa HealthCare, LLC, Medication Management Systems, Inc. and Tactile Systems, Inc. Following his retirement from UnitedHealth, Roche spent several years assisting emerging growth companies as an investor, advisor and board member. He also worked as a Senior Advisor to Triple Tree, LLC.
Roche earned a law degree and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.
