7i Gateway™ is a robust all-in-one, DICOM-compliant server that is located onsite and centralizes storage of all digital images and communications, including:

• Overall image management
• Electronic storage of patient studies
• Distribution and queue management
• Encryption and compression

Using a rules-based routing engine, the gateway processes requests to a local onsite viewing station, a referring physician or a radiology group. Unlike other simple gateways, the advanced 7i Gateway delivers maximum flexibility for short-term storage, Web viewing and distribution.
