7i DocScan

The 7i DocScan is a document scanner that allows you to receive any historical studies, reports and notes from referring physicians to accompany the current study-even when no electronic order entry is available. After hard copy documents are scanned, the 7i DocScan uses optical character recognition (OCR) to find the corresponding patient data and attaches the documents to the current study in the 7i Worklist. Facilities using RIS, HIS or EMR systems can use the print command to create and attach electronic documents to current studies in the worklist.
